Beauty and joy can, and should, be found in the mundane and ordinary. Take, for example, cleaning or ironing. These tasks should not frustrate you nor cause you angst. Instead look for the positives therein; it is an opportunity to be productive, to transform the state of the object being cleaned etc. Take it also as an opportunity to be doubly-productive: listen to a podcast, or an audiobook whilst carrying out the activity so you can experience double the joy and beauty from the task.
Remember always, you are in the present undertaking this task: make the most of it and do not wish the moment away. You may not have many 'presents' remaining.

Those who seek fame, whether it be from social media, controversial acts or by any other means do not live life in the present, for their minds are distracted by the future. ‘Who likes me?’ ‘How many clicks did I get?’ ‘Will my engagement count be high with this post or this action?’
This is not a way to live. Our lives are like little grains of salt, amidst the salt mountain dug from the ground, that mountain itself representing only a grain of the total salt on our planet. A grain can easily blow away, never to be seen again, be dissolved in water, eradicated.
So too our lives; incomprehensibly minuscule in the grand scheme of the universe. No one will know you 20 years from now; certainly not 200 years hence. Don’t chase a pointless, fruitless goal whilst giving up living a virtuous, flourishing life in the present. The universe does not care who you are; neither does any future human.
Once you are gone, and reverting to your elemental state, the opportunity to live has passed you by.
